Attempts to distort Sikh history by Wikipedia on Battle of Chamkaur

If I am ever asked whether Wikipedia is a reliable sourcs of any historical event or history?
My answer will be – NO, IT’S NOT.
Changes made in Talk page of Battle of Chamkaur on wikipedia: I am sure they will remove it as they are keen to show guru lost the battle, safe escape of Guru unhurt meant for wikipedia is not victory but they are sticked to their claim that guru was defeated in this battle and Moguls won.
What a shame on Wikipedia?
The authenticated source is Zafarnamah (a religious letter of victory) which was sent by Guru Gobind Singh to Mughal emperor Aurangzeb after the battle of chamkaur. How could any historian devalue it or reject it’s authenticity? Guru Gobind singh writes in his own words as follows;
Kindly see the second line of this para. It’s clearly written there that ki Dah Lak means ….that das lakh (one million), some historians have wrongly translated it as INFINITIVE.
And, what could my forty men do (at Chamkaur), when a hundred thousand men, unawares, pounced upon them? (19)
Your few historians who have only one motto to distort Sikh history are keen to reject all sources of moral victory of Khalsa which proved the words of 10th master as I will make sparrows break falcons, I will turn Jackals into Lions, I will make 1 fight 125000, then my name shall be Gobind Singh. Here these historians give wrong translation of DAH which is a persian word which means 10.
There are ample evidences to prove it. In Pakistani Punjab specially in Rawalpindi area, people still pronounce DAH for 10, even when pupils learn counting and the read PAHADE, they speak IK DAHYA DAHYA (10) DO DAHYA (20), then how could these historians give a wrong meaning?
Next Guru Gobind Singh fought 14 wars in his life and he won all but now these historians have one motto only to distort Sikh history and show Guru Gobind singh as a loser.
Now let us discuss one more thing. Why did the Moguls sieged the fortress of Chamkaur?
Whether they wanted to kill/arrest the Guru or kill everyone present in fortress?
If we find answer of both these questions, Moguls completely failed in their mission. Guru escaped unhurt but gave a heavy casuality to Moguls though his Sikhs got martyred but with three of his beloveds he successfully escaped unhurt from the heavy seige.
Is it not the victory of Guru and shame for Moguls who couldn’t arrest him? Does it adorn their shoulders or brings shame to their might, to which you and your historians call it defeat of Guru?
Please come out of bias thoughts. It was the power of Amrit given by Guru which till date inherits in veins of Khalsa and inspires them to sacrifice their life for country, religion and their honor.
1)- Just leave aside these 40 Sikhs in Chamkaur, do you have any match to Baba Deep Singh who was given Amrit by Guru himself and fought for many hours and covered a distance of about 8-9 kms after he was beheaded and defeated Moguls?
2)- What about 21 Sikhs in Saragarhi who got martyred when 10,000 Afridi pathans attacked at their fort? They died but after heavy casuality to Pathans as reported more then 200 Pathans died and 1000 seriously wounded?
3)- What about 200-250 unskilled Sikh youths who stopped advance of mighty Indian army and stopped its advance for 72 hrs? The infantry division couldn’t proceed an inch for 72 hrs and then surrendered before Tanks and heavy armor used?
If you can answer these question, then only stick to your biased thoughts that guru and Sikhs were defeated in Chamkaur. Don’t forget Moguls jeopardized in faith when they attacked after taking oath of Qoran.[1]AS Randhawa (talk) 10:01, 20 May 2015 (UTC)

Randhawa on 1984 Sikh genocide

Khalsa ji;

This is the one authenticated report out of hundreds faced in pogrom of Delhi in 1984. The Hindus were falsely provoked to kill Sikhs, rape their women with assuarnce of their safety. Police wathed them in impotent manner and allowed them to rape and kill. They killed, they raped, they danced and left as they were not in any hurry.

In Sagarpur area of west Delhi, Sardar Budh singh had purchased 200 yards plots for each of his son, (number of plots are disfigured in my mind but he purchased many plots for his own family and for family of his younger brother who also settled with him there in Sagarpur). He was a rich farmer of Bikaner who sold his agriculture lands in Bikaner and settled in Delhi.

On the eve of 1st November 1984, some activities of strangers were noticed in the area, they were searching for Sikhs.

There were totally 24 male members in this family. They were united and could face the mob and retaliate with their full might and valor. They were all strong built villagers. But all of them were brutally murdered How?

Chaudhary Partap Singh, Village Pradhan came to Budh singh and requested him to hide his sons and other male members of the family at tubewell and in the adjoining houses of Hindu neighbors so that the crowd of these strangers may pass from the village without any harm to its residents or bloodshed.

Budh singh ji agreed to this suggestion. The male members were divided in groups of 2 to 4 and were hidden accordingly but Partap Singh betrayed with Budh Singh. He himself informed and guided the death squads to those houses where these youths were safely hidden. Now these Sikh youths were helpless and without any weapons, they were caught, brought at a central place near their houses, then garlanded with tyre in their necks, kerosene was sprayed on their bodies and burnt alive.

This is not any hearsay but the truthful story of the death of 24 male members of the family whose pyres (where they were burnt) were seen by these writer also. I (writer Ajmer Singh Randhawa) went their within a week’s time as I was at Dehra Dun where I got the news of these brutal killings by my cousin who had relations with this family. His son was married with daughter of Budh Singh ji. So they were my distant relatives.

I came to Delhi by car, went to my cousin’s house in Hari Nagar. I saw a relief camp there in which the widows of this family were provided a shelter along with others from other parts of west Delhi. I saw new utensils and items of daily usage were provided by DSGMC. The local politicians of Delhi Mrs. Tajdar Babar and Lalit Makan arrived and regretted for the riots and showed their condolence with bereaved families. When they were going back, I was just present near the gate where I passed a remark as…It’s all done by you people, first you do it than visit to mourn to win the hearts? They didn’t reply, just looked upon me and went away.`

In the evening I got a message that a boy of this family is alive. I took my car and moved towards Sagarpur, my nephew was scared but I wasn’t. I assured him that it was not possible to stop my Ambassador car for anyone, just get in. We searched, met many villagers, saw the ashes of burnt people then somebody told us that the boy is in Sonipat so we went to Sonipat but it was proved a wrong information.

So all these 24 well built, strong Sikh youths were killed by betrayal of village head who showed his loyalty to Sajjan kumar and Congress and passed the information of their places of hide.  Was not it backstabbing, a jeopardize in faith? The people who were hidden by you, you get them killed through death squads by leaking information of their hide?

Whether this highlights any good quality of Hindu community or a blackspot forever on their forehead?  This is unforgettable , saddest incident which was witnessed in this Sikh genocide.
